Karl Anderson is rounding a big corner in his personal life. And he is not embarrassed to say that. Former WWE star revealed recently I’ll talk and talk about the store He has been calm for over 500 days and transformation has changed his life.
“The machine gun is cold and plain, like 500 years old.” Anderson said on the podcast. “I feel good. Next level, don’t drink beer. I feel good. My health is through the roof.”
Anderson went on to say that the difference is felt both mentally and physically. “I was one of the best wrestlers around me anyway. He added. “I’m one of the best wrestlers I’ve ever had and I’ve spent half my time. I’ve never had a hangover until now. I feel like I’m 22 again.
However, his drinking journey did not begin quietly. In 2021, Anderson’s drinking issue made headlines after his wife publicly called out to him on social media. She accused him of excessive drinking, misconduct and disappearing for days. In one post, she revealed Anderson’s phone “You accidentally called me at 3am.” And she heard “There’s a lot of fuss in the background and girls are laughing.” The incident happened when Anderson was in Jacksonville, Florida, while he was in AEW double or nothing.
His wife continued with a strong plea: “Of course I know what he really did! The real problem is that he has a drinking problem that doesn’t accept and refuse to get real help. Maybe you can help! Alcoholism really tears your family apart, and sometimes you have to be this extreme to save someone.”
That moment publicly exposed his serious personal struggle, and now it appears Anderson has done his job. With more than a year and a half drinking under his belt, the change is more than just a health update. This is a full-scale redemption arc.
Anderson is currently recovering from surgery on the torn rotator cuff and partially torn lips, with a return window set between six and nine months. He and Luke Gallows will be released by WWE in February 2025 and open about their exit I’ll talk and talk about the store May 8th.
