Earlier this year, Saraya confirmed that she had left AEW, and now the former women’s world champion has revealed what happened during her tenure and that it didn’t happen. Talking about her Rule Breakers podcast, Saraya shared that she once wanted to be part of a love story with Daddy’s magic but turned down the idea.
“I was able to go all my career without doing a love story line. I wasn’t planning on starting now. ”
At the time, Saraya had a boyfriend and shared that it was the only storyline she ever refused, as she hadn’t given the right kiss to someone else, even if it was just for the show. Saraya added that no one ever asked her to do anything like that before AEW.
“There are actually no other storylines I refused. If you have a boyfriend to kiss someone, you don’t think it’s appropriate.“
Saraya’s AEW exit has led many fans to speculate about a potential return to WWE, and former Page himself teased that a return could come. Only time can tell as to how Saraya’s second potential run in WWE will go, but there is clearly a line where Brit won’t cross, even if the kiss is just part of the show.
