Since 2018, WWE Crown Jewel has traditionally been held in Saudi Arabia, but in countries hosting the Royal Rumble next January, it has been announced that the event will be held in Perth, Australia instead. The show is part of WWE’s mini tour entitled “WWE Raw” and “WWE Smackdown” where “WWE Raw” and “WWE Smackdown” will take place before and after Crown Jewel. Following last week’s news, Dave Meltzer has provided new updates on future plans for the event in the latest version of “Wrestling Observer Newsletter.”

According to Meltzer, the event, which was first introduced last year, will be competing for the annual Crown Jewel Men’s and Women’s title match. Additionally, the top champions of “Raw” and “Smackdown” will return to Saudi Arabian tradition in 2026, head-on, just like last November. Meltzer also pointed out that the Survivor Series will continue to host male and female wargame matches.

Seven months ago, Cody Rhodes defeated Gunther, and Liv Morgan won over Nia Jacks, becoming the first men’s and women’s Crown Jewel champion. John Cena will also be making his final appearance in WWE in Australia this October. Because Crown Jewel will be one of the final premium live events as part of its 2025 retirement tour. Last week, Rhea Ripley and Grayson Waller are both indigenous peoples of Australia and visited the country for a long time to promote the event.
