WWE Women’s World Champion Iyo Sky is reportedly receiving a very high reputation within the company for at least one key decision maker in 2025, seeing her as a “breakaway star.”
WWE sources praised Sky’s all-around capabilities, as they rose in their decision-making. Meltzer shared a comment from the source. “Sky is considered a breakaway star this year, and everyone loves to work with her, combining Asuka with English and “fire and voice inflections that have made it a powerful promotion without an incredibly amazing work rate.”
This internal acclaim followed Sky’s outstanding performance at WrestleMania 41, and held the Women’s World Championship in a rave reviewed triple threat match with Biancabellaea and Realiply. Already considered one of the best in the world since joining WWE in 2018, Sky has secured multiple women’s championship governance and women’s tag team titles.
There is no backlash PLE scheduled this weekend, but Sky will be working with Rhea Ripley and Rhea Ripley on RAW next Monday.
