Jeff Cobb is playing games with WWE fans ahead of tonight’s backlash event in St. Louis. Previous reports have shown that Cobb is listed internally as part of the Smackdown roster and may be present at premium live events, but Cobb claims to be far from Missouri.
A few hours before the show, Cobb posted a video of himself exercising in Los Angeles. A mysterious message: “After just completing a sweet workout and years of going to LA, this was my first time going here! I recommend you check it out! The gym, free tan, and when you’re done, the beach recommends diving in!”
When fans referenced the backlash and suggested they should be in St. Louis, Cobb doubled and replied, “I always left Missouri for summer vacation in mid-May. I’ll experience Missouri one day in late May.”
Cobb enjoys rumors that WWE will sign for weeks, and jokingly announces speculation is swirling around with jokes. With the former NJPW star reportedly going to make his WWE debut soon, fans are wondering if Cobb is really in LA.
