WWE star Becky Lynch recently opened up about working with AEW’s MJF Happy Gilmore 2 In a new interview with Variety.
“I did [cross paths with MJF on set]Lynch said. “You know, a very nice boy. A great chat. Of course he knows he’s going to lose. [a promo battle]but we had a great chat. ”
She added: “Unfortunately, this was long before happening, but I feel he’ll totally agree with everything I’m talking about Lyra.”
MJF responded to Lynch’s remarks on Twitter with a sarcasm and Bravado’s signature blend.
“I totally agree with Lila’s Vex. She seems like a scary person, and obviously a terrible poor person.
We enjoyed our time together with the “man” on the set. A very nice girl and a great citizen.
But…. Are you not too sure about her thoughts on the potential promotional fight? #betterthanyou”
The top star wrestling crossover continues to blur the line as both Lynch and MJF expand their reach to Hollywood.
Happy Gilmore 2 It is set to premiere on July 25th, 2025 on Netflix only.
