The WWE star teased John Cena’s WWE Championship challenge following rumors swirling about this potential match.

There was a lot of speculation about what other former rivals Cena faces during his retirement tour as John Cena defeated Randy Orton in the WWE Backlash.

CM Punk hinted at the possibility of him coming next, and shared an interesting message following the May 10th PLE.

Punk took him to his Instagram story and shared photos of him watching the moment of the show’s closure. In the caption of the commentary, I read, “Cena is still a champion.”

Interestingly, the next WWE Main Roster Premium Live event will be on June 7th at Bank Money.

Many fans have previously predicted that Punk could face Cena at the event.

It was in the 2011 event that Punk defeated Cena for the WWE Championship and left the crowd in Gold after a match that many called the Instant Classic.

Punk recently said he would like to take on John Cena’s retirement tour.

Cena is guaranteed to make another big appearance before the bank’s money, and it has been confirmed that the WWE Champion will be in the main event NBC Special on Saturday night, May 24th.

John Cena’s next WWE opponent was potentially revealed, with the champion laying out another Smackdown star after the repulsion.
