Josh Alexander made history with MLP Northern Rising, winning the vacant MLP Canada Championship in tough 20-man gauntlet matches.

Alexander sealed the victory by hitting Matt Cardona with C4 spikes and eliminated him to win the title.

The gauntlet featured a stacked lineup of competitors, including Rich Swann, El Phantasmo, Bhupinder Gujjar, Brent Banks, Rhyno, Billy Gunn, Psycho Mike, Slex, Michael Allen Richard Clark, PCO, Johnny Parisi, QT Marshall, Sheldon Jean, Santino Marella, Bishop Dyer, Mo Jabari, Raj Dhesi, Alex Zayne, Matt Cardona.

Adding another layer to the story, Don Charis said in the commentary that MLP Canada’s championship also advances to AEW, opening up the possibility of intriguing Alexander and the title’s future.
