John Cena’s final WWE match confirmed in Boston in December

John Cena’s farewell tour just took a dramatic turn to confirm that his final WWE match will be held at TD Garden in Boston this December.

According to WCVB, WWE is locked in Boston as the location of Cena’s final match, but the exact date is wrapped.

The news comes after Billi Bhatti of the Dirt Sheets Wrestling Informer Podcast said WWE was targeting Cena’s final match on December 27th, and is tuned to the annual holiday tour. Batty said, “We learned that WWE is on the way to install additional PLEs in December, and they are targeting TD Garden as the venue.

Batty also said WWE was initially considering Madison Square Garden. But now it appears that Cena’s farewell is officially made in his hometown of Boston, and will close his ring career in front of the crowds in his hometown.

Having held the undisputed WWE Championship with Randy Orton in the WWE Backlash, Cena has 24 appearances left in 2025. This is a breakdown of his completed confirmed dates.
