WWE’s Creative teams need to come up with a lot of content considering the number of wrestlers on contracts and, given the mix of bad results over the years. Sometimes there were scary ideas at first, but wrestlers were able to turn them into great ones. Also, these bad creative pitches are totally hurting wrestlers.
These ideas range from those who win a particular match to ideas of gimmicks and awful storylines. Often, WWE Superstars need to brush their teeth and try to make it positive. However, there was a moment when the WWE superstar fought against the idea of bad booking and proved his ability to believe in himself.
Sasha Banks & Naomi
They left WWE in this situation
- They were the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at the time
- Both women were stopped for their actions
Many wrestlers who fight back with bad bookings will be punished, especially during Vince McMahon’s tenure. That was something Sasha Banks and Naomi suffered when they chose to fight back on how the women’s tag team division was handled.
They were suspended as they refused work for the planned, advertised match. Both women were not satisfied with the reservation and stuck to the belief that they had stood up for themselves at this point.
I’m Lee
WWE wanted to laugh at mental illness

- This would have been a harmful storyline for WWE.
People’s knowledge of mental illness may not have been when AJ Lee was on the roster, but it was still a widely discussed and known topic. It was also clear that the subject was unleashed as given its delicate nature and how it affects millions of people around the world.
WWE wanted to laugh at mental illness by having AJ Lee work on gimmicks based on disasters. Fans would have hated it and fortunately she refused because this storyline definitely brought negative attention to everyone involved.
Steve Austin
He didn’t want to do business with Brock Lesnar.

- Austin felt that was pointless from a business perspective.
Steve Austin is one of the biggest stars in wrestling history, and one reason for this is because he knew his heart. The Texas rattlesnake had a firm grasp of the character he portrayed and believed in the value he brought, so he rejected the idea of losing to Brock Lesnar in the qualifying match for King of the Ring.
WWE hoped he would lose against Lesnar in the episode of wwe raw Without the accumulation or storyline that angered Austin. He refused because he felt that it would make no sense for it to happen without a storyline idea or a way to make money.
Stephanie McMahon
She rejected the wild idea from her father

- This was probably one of the worst stories in WWE history.
The Mc Mahon family has often been in absurd situations for many years. Vince may have placed himself in a completely insane situation, but that doesn’t mean that all of his children wanted to go the same path.
That was clear when Stephanie rejected the incest storyline. When she became pregnant with a triple H child in real life, Vince wanted to take advantage of it by making Shane a father on TV. Being pitched was a wild idea, especially considering he was Stephanie and Shane’s father, but she completely rejected the idea.
John Cena
He didn’t want to lose money as a bank winner
- He originally planned to get Jack Swagger cash.
- Swagger cashed to Jericho
Bank money is supposed to bring about levels of unpredictability, something that John Cena had no interest in joining in 2010. WWE teased the idea that Jac K Swagger C would paint him with ashes.
He turned down the idea, and in the end it was the right call. Swagger ultimately won cash, but his world title run proved unforgettable, and Cena’s decision not to get involved was shown to be wise.
Brock Lesnar
The company had to quickly switch WWE titles

for a long time, WWE Survivor Series It has become a predictable and bland event with guaranteed champions of each brand to face each other. Sometimes it led to a big feud, and sometimes there was a plan for Brock Lesnar to face Jinder Mahal.
Mahal was a boring WWE champion and was not interested in anyone’s fans seeing at that level. Obviously, Lesnar refused to do the job against him, so it felt the same way. Repeated WWE to change plans as AJ Styles defeated Mahal for the title.
Bret Heart
He almost made his debut under a terrifying gimmick
- Bret Hart didn’t want to be a cowboy
- He became a great tag team star at first
It’s hard to imagine Bret Hart being anything but the hitman in his traditional black, pink and white ring outfit. However, Vinc E McMahon had the intention to make his debut as a cowboy.
Thankfully, Hart declined the idea. He was not known for his enormous charisma, so working as a cowboy is hard to imagine how he worked together.

The Shield worked well as a faction. Because they were kept strong throughout the entire run. They were rarely beaten and fans were able to take them seriously as a threat. But Vince McMahon wanted them to lose WWE Removal Chamber 2013 against John Cena, Sheamus and Lyback.
This made no sense given that the team they faced were a random trio of babyfaces who weren’t real teams like theirs. Luckily, the Shield refused to lose their case and fought to ensure they remained strong.
