in WWE BacklashUS champion Jacob Fatu retained the title thanks to the support of solo sicor and debutant Jeff Cobb. After the match, Fatu is visibly confused by Cobb’s arrival, suggesting that Solo has not informed the US champions about his plans.
Speaking about the backlash press conference after WWE, Fatu was asked for his thoughts on Cobb’s debut and revealed that his surprise was authentic.
“You’ve seen the expressions on my face. There’s nothing I can explain, even if I want to do so, there’s nothing I can say. At the end of the day, I’m still trying to understand everything.”
In Smackdown before Backlash, Sikore was concerned that the pedigree was out of “Soldiers,” but Fatu was uninterested in creating a game plan. Currently, the pedigree has another “soldier” in that rank, but the problems between Solo and Jacob may not be over.
