WWE removed Brown Strowman from the roster, but placed him on the “menus” in a new show. He may have left as an active wrestler. However, fans will see him on TV as it was announced during the NBC prepaid presentation. Brown Strowman and everything about the menu It will premiere on the US Network in the fall of 2025.
WWE capitalizes the shot Brown Strowman
The new series, produced by WWE Studios and Brightnorth Studios, features Strowman travelling the US, stopping by a restaurant on the road with WWE, trying to eat everything on all the menu. The concept combines food, travel and the over-the-top personality of Strowman in a format designed for entertainment-hungry viewers. It’s the perfect combination of big eaters and big foods, but the timing is also very troublesome.
Strowman was officially released by WWE on May 10, 2025. This was released as part of a wave of cuts for talent, including stars like Shayna Baszler and Dakota Kai. The belief was that Strowman’s injury situation and the size of his contract made him the person he felt the company had not signed a full-time contract. Still, it feels like they’re overlooking that WWE has incorporated Strowman into their new show and released him before the announcement was made.
Certainly, it’s a mysterious decision
Fans took him to social media (particularly X (formerly Twitter)) to express confusion and frustration about WWE’s decision to promote him as a star in the upcoming series, while also expressing his prominent involvement in programming. “This is wild,” one fan wrote. “They fire him, but will they continue to air the show he’s on the WWE path?” Another fan asked, “Did Triple H forget that he was on the show?”
The move led to speculation that Strowman might not be fully made in WWE. There may be a deal that he is not on the roster full time, but he is still with the company in legendary abilities. Perhaps his injury situation will shift him to a less registered role. There he became an ambassador for the company, appeared in promotions, and did projects like this. That makes sense given the recent struggle with knee injuries.
As more is learned, I update my story. At this point, what is known is before his release, WWE saw that he was marketable enough to feature him on the show.
