Current AEW International Champion Kenny Omega sat down to do an interview and talked about a lot about her appearance in Devil May Cry anime on Netflix, video games and pro wrestling. In this interview with Adi Shankar, Omega talked about the wild roads that WWE believes are heading downwards and gave them ideas about the possible WrestleMania match.
WWE uses a variety of celebrities in its programmes, including Travis Scott, Logan Paul, Bad Bunny, and Johnny Knoxville. Each of these stars becomes physical in the ring, some of which have more than a real match. Omega believes WWE will continue just that, and perhaps even pushing the envelope a bit.
Celebrities Main Event Wrestle Mania
While talking to Adi Shankar, the topic of celebrities being more involved in the ring in some way was nurtured, and Kenny shared that he believes that he could happen earlier than later. He spoke about the idea that WWE has WrestleMania main event matches like Logan Paul and Mr. Beast.
“I said it before, I don’t think – I don’t know if I said it publicly, but I think it’s heading towards a road like some WrestleMania on the street, the main event is Logan Paul vs. Mr. Beast.” “What is wrestling insight? Of course, the idea that these two exact names are headlines for WrestleMania was jokingly said. The idea behind it is something to think about. Logan has become a mainstay, has appeared in many PLEs and has played multiple WrestleMania matches under his belt. Bud Bunny competed multiple times, Travis Scott was involved in John Sheena’s heel turn, and Mr. Beast came to the record saying how he wanted to do something in wrestling.
The fans are on the fence
Reading to a social media post talking about what Kenny said was mixed reaction to a variety of things to say the least. It’s easy to see that many agree with him and WWE focuses on creating viral moments, which gave this big name celebrity this big moment on their show. Others say it won’t happen.
The most interesting answer is fans who claim that if something like Logan Paul vs. Mr. Beast actually happens, it will be a big draw. Others went back to AEW to talk about their use of AJ and Big Justice (The Costco Guys) last year. Celebrities have been part of professional wrestling for decades, and this trend doesn’t seem to stop anytime soon.
