Last week, Aew’s Ricochet and NXT’s Je’von Evans were caught up in a malicious before and after social media spat as fans share the exchange after Evans shared the exchange after debating his post and debating who “won” the argument. In light of the controversy, Booker T, in addition to sharing his advice to Evans, provided his perspective on the wrestler’s words and which is wrong.
According to Booker in his “Hall of Fame” podcast stream, the exchange was an indicator of the state of the world we live in and social media. The veteran recalled that someone praised Evans and called him the best and promising high flyer. “Ricochet [is] 40 years old, do you know what I mean? I think Ricochet missed the point, as far as you know, “Booker gave his opinion.”
“Again, you need to understand that Ricochet deals with a young man. The young man is still a child,” Booker pointed out. “The story of Je’von Evans and Ricochet Talk are two completely different worlds. You can feel it. You can see it!” However, the veteran pointed out that Evans needs to learn from the experience. “Don’t go down to someone else’s level. If you’re going down to someone else’s level, just go down to lift them up to your level. Do that!”
