John Moxley retained the AEW world title and set up a disorder at Don’s arena

Anarchy was declared next weekend following the main event of the “AEW Dynamite” Beach Break Special on Wednesday. Chaos continued after AEW world champion John Moxley defended the title in a cage match against Samoa Joe.

During the title match, a bloody Moxley hit Joe’s paradigm shift. Joe won the championship with the Coquina clutch, which pulled out the death rider and tried to enlarge the cage. Powerhouse Hobbs and Willow Nightingale come to the rescue and escape the Death Riders, but the Parker man, revealed to be Kidd, handed Moxley a briefcase with the championship through a crack in the cage. Moxley hit Joe with that and got a pinfall victory.

Young Bucks music was a hit when Kidd saved Moxley. They went into the ring too, but Kenny Omega came out too. Okada took him out from behind and let him slide in the ring. Matthew Jackson put the cage back in to get Omega and Joe back in to beat the heels, still back in the ring. The music from Strickland finally hit, and he climbed into the cage and leveled everyone below. After the ring was cleared and the cage was lifted up again, Strickland got on the microphone and tried Anala’s match in the arena match.
