The popular AEW stars have re-signed the company after reports recently came out that their contract would soon be coming.
It was a year of many moves from AEW to WWE, but one name can be excluded from making that move in the near future.
As reported by Fightful Select, Willow Nightingale has re-signed it with AEW on a multi-year agreement.
The Nightingale contract was due to expire in “a few months.”
Fightful previously reported that AEW viewed Nightingale as a “priority” and that sources have said it is preferred within the company.
Nightingale won the AEW 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament and is also a former TBS champion.
She won the title from the dynasty Julia Hart in April 2024, holding it for 35 days before losing to Mercedes Mohn in Double or Nut.
There was nothing about whether WWE or other companies were interested in signing Nightingale, but as I pointed out, her contract wasn’t going to expire until a few months anyway, so she re-signed it before completing the other offers.
