CM Punk’s potential involvement in WWE Champion’s Night Saudi Arabia on June 28th has attracted attention given its previous criticism of the WWE’s partnership with the Kingdom. Since then, Punk has shared that he doesn’t hate Saudi Arabia, and has wanted to update the hopes of the fans of the country and see him alive.

According to an update from Pwinsider’s Mike Johnson, the cards are subject to change, but they’d “certainly believe” Punk will appear at upcoming premium live events. Currently, title matches are expected in upcoming events, but no Night of Champion matches have been confirmed.

Punk’s current stance on Saudi Arabia is a notable change from the infamous 2020 jab in Miz, saying, “Smoke the d** covered in Saudi Arabia. WWE has been facing criticism for many years in its partnership with Saudi Arabia, which has proven to be one of the biggest money makers of promotions.

Time knows who will face Punk with his Saudi debut, but it points to the best signs in the world heading for Riyadh next month.
