Tony Kahn issued a statement after some technical issues during the airing of tonight’s May 17th AEW Clash.

Tonight’s Clash was recorded last Wednesday shortly after Dynamite before airing tonight on TNT.

The show appears to have been cut off halfway through, with TNT starting to show Black Adam instead, with AEW CEO Tony Khan commenting on social media.

He wrote:

We have technical issues with studio transmissions tonight’s Saturday #AewCollision!

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The full show from @streamonmax+ will be appearing at @tntdrama West 8pm pt/9pm mt/10pm ct/11pm tonight.

The official “Television AEW” page also tweeted:

Due to technical difficulties, the #AewCollision Beach Break East Coast Airing has been shortened. West Coast Broadcasting will not be affected. You can use the on-demand version on @sportsonmax and TNT apps as soon as possible

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We are committed to providing the best wrestling on the planet.

Take this bump and ride it

For international fans outside the US, the airing of the conflict, which normally airs simultaneously in the US version, was an hour behind normal on Triller TV (formerly Fite TV).

Tonight’s AEW Collision notably performed the host of a homage to Steve ‘Mongo’ McMichael featuring his wife Misty, Dean Malenko, Tony Schiavone and Ric Flair.

You can see the tribute below.
