In 2025, waves of AEW performers are jumping into WWE.
Stars like Penta and Phoenix made their WWE debut this year, setting foot in the company’s spotlight for the first time. Meanwhile, others like Rusev and Aleister Black have returned to promotions once called homes.
As the wrestling war continues unabated, there are few indications that the WWE will soon stop targeting AEW talent.
There are eight AEW stars that can make the same move in the near future.
8. Chris Jericho
In his first year, Chris Jericho was AEW’s biggest star and the most recognizable name.
He became the company’s first world champion and won the ROH World Championship twice.
Despite his historical significance to AEW, Jericho’s legacy is deeply rooted in WWE. WWE has been one of the company’s biggest stars for nearly 20 years.
At 54, it appears that Jericho will eventually return to WWE and end his storied career.
