Drew McIntyre has named his favorite matches of his WWE career

Since Drew McIntyre returned to WWE in 2017, he has easily been one of the most reliable in-ring performers in promotions, playing in countless shows-stealing matches and main events. Most notably, his title match against Roman rule and clashes in the castle in 2022 and his fight with Andrade in “WWE NXT” eight years ago were highlights of his resume, but there is one particular match that “Scottish Warrior” considers to be the best of his career. Speaking with “juicy darts,” McIntyre recalls competing with Sheamus and Gunther at WrestleMania 39 for the InterContinental Championship, claiming it was his most beloved match of 23 years working in the wrestling industry.

“It’s incredible. The match was probably my favorite match… I hope Mike’s hard lemonade isn’t sponsored. The three of us put it together to put that match together.

McIntyre admitted that he felt that Seth Rollins’ match at the WrestleMania 40 was thrilling from a storyline perspective, but the Triple Threat match is another favorite match this year when it comes to quality in the ring and crowd investment.
