WWE brought the final of LFG’s first season in A&E. The network has already renewed its six seasons of shows, and it has only proven success. By the end of the night, the champion was crowned because the NXT contract was transferred.

After weeks of elimination and key moments, the final four contestants met at Madison Square Garden for the LFG Championship. In the women’s division, Team Undertaker’s Tyra Mae Steele faced Zena Sterling from Team Bubba Ray Dudley. The match decided who would leave the title.

Tyra May Steele defeated Zena Sterling to win the women’s final. Her victory concluded a powerful tournament run and opened the door for what comes next on the WWE Pass.

The Undertaker coached Steele to win, making him the only legend to represent in both divisional finals. Shawn Michaels stepped in to formally crown the first LFG champion. In the end, Steele won the NXT contract when everything was said and completed. As she is a former Olympic gold medalist, this was a big win for Steele and a big win for NXT.
