Shawn Michaels is already two-time WWE Hall of Fame, but they may be more honorable than coming to WrestleMania’s path. While appearing in Go to ringsideMichaels discussed WWE’s first “immortal moment” inducted into the Hall of Fame in this year’s class. Michaels admitted that he was intrigued by the idea before moving forward himself for future honors.
“I think it’s the ones that many people think will easily get in, and the Undertaker, but in my humble opinion, there are many more. The good thing is, there are only two Hall of Fame rings, as there are eight fingers left.
Michaels’ 2009 clash with The Undertaker is considered a lot, if not a betting match for either man’s career. If he was appointed as an immortal moment, Michaels will be the second three-time belonging only behind his longtime enemy Brett “Hitman” Heart.
Even if Michaels hadn’t been appointed to the game, he was able to receive a third lead as part of the locker. WWE introduced talent to both Singles and Tag-Team productions, allowing Michaels to gain popularity alongside Marty Jannetty.
Michaels took over as a singles star role in 2011 and as part of DX 10 years later. With a career filled with epic moments and matches, it may be only a matter of time before Michaels has at least one Hall of Fame ring that shaves his fingers.
