Will Osprey revealed the relationship he has under the legendary ECW star’s learning tree.

With a 14-year career and gloves, Ospreay qualification saw him sign AEW in November 2023.

At AEW, Ospreay revealed that he has learned a lot about Jerry Lynn’s business.

Speaking about the Q101 podcast, Ospreay shared his thoughts on learning from others in wrestling.

“I’m not tired of hearing from different wrestlers, their opinions.”

He later revealed recently that he is working closely with the former ECW World Heavyweight Champion, saying:

“For example, this year I have worked with Jerry Lynn, and he really helped me analyze small pieces of my game, especially when I’m on TV.

“I enjoyed the underground style and the technique and intimacy between the wrestler and the audience, and I always enjoyed that type of connection, so Jerry Lynn taught me the little nuggets and really helped me connect with the audience.

“Learn how to ride the waves and get to the point where they reach the climax. I know that it’s the weirdest word used in wrestling, but Jerry teaches me the amazing art of climaxing them at the right points.”

Lynn has been working as a producer and coach for AEW since 2019.

Ospreay will face Hangman Page in the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament Finals at Double Or Nothing, with the winner taking on the AEW World Championship.

Two-time AEW International champion, Ospreay has also been named a potential opponent in the 2025 banned door crossover event with NJPW.
