WWE NXT results 5/20 – Zaria clashes with Kelani Jordan, Josh Briggs squares with Sean Spears

Welcome to “WWE NXT” live coverage on May 20, 2025.

Zaria and Kelani Jordan return to action tonight as they head straight to each other. Zaria and Jordan won the latter in the episode of “NXT” on May 6th, not only did they win over the latter, but they also revealed that Jordan wanted another shot at the North American Championships of the Women’s Aly Soluluka in Zaria.

Over the past few months, Josh Briggs has teamed up with Pro Wrestling Noastar Yoshiki Inamura. However, on May 6, Inamura told Briggs that his time on “NXT” was nearing the end of his excursion from Japan to the US. Feeling lost, Briggs then approached cul, who had several choice words for him. Briggs then tries to greet him with some retaliation as he greets his head head straight with Kaling’s Sean Spears.

Sean Legacy will compete in his first match in “NXT” programming, clashing with Ashante Ter Adonis and Jevon Evans in a triple threat match. All three men competed in the NXT Championship of Obafemi’s Battle Royale, the 25 men’s No. 1 candidates, on May 6th.

Additionally, OTM’s Lucien Price and Bronco Nima will compete in their first TV match in “NXT” programming between Kale Dixon and Chase U. Chase’s Uriah Connors and TNA Star Joe Hendry.

We are alive! Vic Joseph, Booker T, and the Corey Glaves greet the audience at home as the Ricky Saints head into the ring to join the comment desk. Je’von Evans, Sean Legacy and Ashante Adonis all follow.

Je’von Evans vs. Sean Legacy vs. Ashante Adonis in a triple threat match

The bell rings, and Adonis fires his right hand and stomps at the legacy of the corner. Legacy rolls up Evans, but Evans kicks out and delivers a back drop to Adonis as Evans as West Lock is tightened to him. Evans looks to fly, but Legacy moves to roll-ups. Evans kicks out.

The Legacy Dropkick brings Evans out of the ring and joins Adonis, but Adonis returns to the ring and levels Legacy. Evans then first hits Adonis in the face of the ring apron, flying and leveling on the outside. Adonis then goes back inside the ring and fires his right hand at Evans, but Legacy fires a chop at Adonis.

Adonis whips Legacy into the horn, then Legacy and Evans shoot in the shoulder in the opposite corner. Adonis connects with DDT in Legacy, attacking Evans’ spinebuster over Legacy, pinning both men. Evans and Legacy both kick out, and Adonis appears to land sweet chin music on Legacy. Legacy catches Adonis’ boots, but Evans crashes Legacy out of the ring along with Enz Igiri. Legacy responds with a Spanish fly to Evans, but Evans sends him to crash from the top rope in Hurricane Lana. Adonis throws Evans out of the ring and pins Legacy, but Evans slips inside to break the fall.

Adonis spikes Evans with a DDT, but Evans catches her legacy with an OG cutter. He crashes Adonis into the mat, but Evans connects Adonis with a 450 splash and goes to Pin. Legacy breaks autumn.

Ethan Page blinds the saints at the announcement desk, but security pulls them apart. Evans jumps out of the ring from the level page, saints, security. Legacy gets an advantage and lifts up a double under hook neck breaker to crash into the mat for victory.
