Roxanne Perez has been involved in WWE since 2022. For most of that era, we competed at NXT. It’s not an exaggeration to say that she is one of the principal names responsible for helping to build the brand’s reputation of having one of the greatest female divisions in the world. She is a two-time NXT women’s champion and is definitely the best name to hold that title. Shawn Michaels, who is the creative team for NXT, spoke about Perez in 2024 about Sports Illustrated’s The Takedown.

On Wrestlemania’s weekend, Bayley was to team up with Lyra Valkyria, but was taken to Becky Lynch and removed from the match. Meanwhile, Perez appeared on the Stand & Streaming 2025 Countdown Show.
Stand & Delivery also saw a bullied feud between Perez and Kora Jade. Perez left during a multi-team tag match and left Jade to pet him for himself, but nothing happened because Jade was released. The same happened with Raw with Perez and Giulia, who refute Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky. The feud involving the world champions could have really accelerated Perez and Julia as legal candidates. Instead, Perez and Julia were finished with losses to Ripley and Sky in a tag team match. Perez was always on the loser during the entire feud.
In RAW, WWE had some involvement with Perez on Judgement Day. That’s the last thing she needs to do in WWE at this point. The story of Judgment Day has already progressed too long at this point and needs to be finished soon. Instead, Perez needs to focus on becoming a women’s world champion. To be fair, WWE finally gave her the necessary victory in Raw in the bank qualifying match.

Roxanne Perez managed to secure her spot with the women’s money in Bank Ladder Match, beating Becky Lynch and Natalya. This is exactly the opportunity Perez needs to regain momentum and truly kick off her career as an official member of the main roster. That means giving Perez a briefcase and allowing her to chase the world title. Bank contract money is not booked the best in recent years. Perez is the answer to this.
Perez did something great in 2025. She holds a long record in the Women’s Royal Rumble in an hour and seven minutes. She was shining inside the elimination chamber this year. She’s fighting the best and best battles in NXT. Roxanne Perez has the character and ring talent that will become the face of the company for years to come. WWE must finish a stop start push with her. Drops the story between her and Judgment Day, giving it a clear and focused story along with other main event stars of Raw. She has shown many times that she can help her brands carry success.
