wwe/aew
Tony Kahn has already signed AEW with many former WWE champions, but there are still a few big names left.
While some still actively compete in the ring, others already have a legendary career in wrestling that is not medically advised, all of these former WWE champions could contribute greatly to the future of AEW.
Here are eight former WWE champions who can find themselves in AEW one day.
8. AJ Style
AJ Styles remains on a contract with WWE, but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t be seduced by AEW when his current contract ended.
Stiles previously commented that he was 50 years old (about two years from now) and there may be a compelling reason why he would retire from in-ring competitions completely after the program at AEW.
There may be a similar reason Style chooses to sign AEW, just as he left WWE from Edge and from AEW for the final run that appears to have a great deal of control over his schedule and creative.
With his long history in professional wrestling, spanning most major companies, a short stay at AEW might make sense for future styles to add another style to the list.
