Former AEW World Women’s Champion Nila Rose reflects in the first double or nothing ppv

Over four days, AEW’s annual late spring/early summer pay-per-view event, Double or Nothing, celebrates its seventh annual program since the company’s founding in 2019. Don’t think of her image being displayed throughout the Las Vegas strip through AEW’s promotional posters. The former and second female world champions recall the moment when they decided to be on this first card.

“That whole show holds such a special place for me for so many reasons,” Rose said in “Unlimited AEW.” “Is that like an introduction to our first kind? Is it right? Goodness… There’s a 100-foot poster on the side of the MGM Grand. These are things people will strive for life to have my face anywhere in Vegas.”

Acknowledging that she was watching wrestling from a set of goggles with one lens as a performer/wrestler, looking at another lens from the fan’s point of view, Rose didn’t expect her to get the chance to go to the toes alongside the Hall of Fame. In the first show, “Native Beasts” were intertwined with Kylie Ray, Dr. Britt Baker, DMD (won the match), TNA Hall of Famers and Trendsetters, trendsetters in women’s wrestling, and great Kongs. Before their standoff, Rose stated that neither of her challengers knew Kong was part of their four-way match. When the great Kong music was a hit, the entire audience wasn’t glued to it, including Rose, who admitted after re-watching the conflict with Kong.

“This is a real surprise to fans, so it’s not unparalleled energy to make sure the place isn’t tied to at all,” Rose added.
