Joe Hendry isn’t just coming in WWE NXT Battleground With guitar and catchy song lyrics, he brings some serious backup knowledge.

Just a day after dropping a scathing acoustic performance targeting NXT’s Trick Williams, the TNA World Champion took to social media to reveal who was working before the historic title match. On May 22nd, Hendry tweeted a photo of him standing together CM Punk and Ace Steelsimply captioned: “Learn from the best 👏👏”

that’s right. Hendry is one of the most controversial and skilled wrestlers of the past 20 years, training with the man who helped coach him behind the scenes. The presence of CM Punk is impossible to ignore, especially in the intense crossover of WWE and TNA.

There wasn’t much detail, but the images said it all. Hendry has focused and appears to be trapped next to Steel and Punk, spurring speculation about how serious he is playing this Sunday against Trick Williams.
