Controversial Japanese wrestling promoter Rossy Ogawa has recently raised the rage of fans. Many fans are screaming at Ogawa for embarrassing his new promotional world champion, including former AEW world champion Kenny Omega, one of Ogawa’s leading critics.
“It’s very strange,” Omega said on a recent Twitch stream. “The funny thing is, I remember the comments I made in this chat…people attacked me instantly.
Omega had previously hinted at hostility towards Ogawa last year, but he said that no matter how misstepped Ogawa became Atons, he continues to act the same way over and over again. Omega also thought that the issue with Rossy Ogawa might not be clear enough.
“People like Rossy do a good job of revealing themselves to the world on their own. Soon, whether he’s going to go out completely on his own mask… the writing is on the wall,” Omega said. The former IWGP heavyweight champion believes that despite promoters like Rossy providing a platform for wrestlers, he will be negative.
“I can never take [the opportunities he’s given wrestlers] Omega abandoned him. Would I want to pull the rug out from under her? …It’s definitely not. ”
Omega believes that Marigold is bigger than the stream and he doesn’t need to succeed.
“He’s one guy. That’s all,” Omega said. “Marigold is an incredible collection of talent that hasn’t yet been found their way. I don’t think the best thing for them has come yet.”
