WrestleMania 42 doesn’t have a locked house yet, but Las Vegas is really close to sealing the deal.

According to Pwinsider EliteWWE and the city of Las Vegas are undergoing high consultations to bring WrestleMania back to Allegiant Stadium in 2026. “Very, very close.” Finished.

If a deal occurs, WrestleMania 42 will take place on the weekends of April 18th and 19th, rather than the original date announced in New Orleans before WWE pulls the plug in that plan.

WWE has not issued a formal statement yet, but the sign points to Vegas regaining the spotlight. The city hosted WrestleMania 41 earlier this year, offering it on all accounts both in terms of spectacle and revenue. The success reportedly helped them consider shaking WWE’s new leadership.

Originally, WrestleMania 42 was set in New Orleans on April 11th and 12th, but Rock helped unveil the Superdome as its official venue earlier this year. After that, without many warnings, WWE pulled out. A joint statement from WWE and the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation said the show simply will be “We will move from the currently scheduled 2026 time frame to a future year.”

WWE hasn’t made the final call, but Vegas looks like it’s back to the top. If the last piece falls into place, you’re ready to host again.
