WWE Scrap New Orleans Wrestle Mania 2026 Sticks to Las Vegas (Report)

WWE has abolished plans to bring WrestleMania to New Orleans next year. It remains in Las Vegas following this year’s record-breaking event, according to local outlet nola.com. This has not been confirmed by WWE yet.

WWE informed New Orleans tourism officials on Thursday that the April 2026 show announced by Dwayne “Rock” Johnson in February will not progress at the Caesars Superdome.

The decision comes after Las Vegas’ WrestleMania 41 shattered attendance record with over 124,000 fans, generating the highest revenue in the company’s history. Industry sources want WWE leadership to build on its momentum rather than changing cities.

New Orleans hosted its final WrestleMania in 2018, which had a major economic impact on the region. The city is expected to acquire a premium live event and future WrestleMania in 2026.
