Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho and others had lasting impacts in AEW after several years of successful stints in WWE.

Recently, Adam Copeland and Bobby Lashley chose to leave WWE after signing with AEW after reaching legendary status.

Looking at the potential stars who can move on to the promotion, there are eight legends that could leave WWE and join AEW.

8. Shane McMahon

Since being spotted in a meeting with Tony Kahn in the summer of 2024, it has long been debated that there is a possibility of signing all elite wrestling.

McMahon last appeared in WWE Programming in 2023 when he was injured in a match against MIZ at WRETLEMANIA 39.

“Shane O Mac” is one of the last remaining McMahon family left in the professional wrestling business, and if he appears in AEW it will offer one of the most shocking moments in the industry.

If Tony Kahn wants to surprise fans a lot, he won’t find a more jaw-dropping debut, at the level where Shane McMahon walks to his company.
