TNA pulls title matches ahead of the under siege event

Tonight, May 23rd, TNA Wrestling will host an under-siege event, but one title match planned for the event was drawn out by the promotion. During TNA Impact this week, authorities Santino Marella shared that the international title match set between champions Steve McLin and Matt Cardona has been turned off.

Marella explained that after a brutal dog collar match with Eric Young a few weeks ago, McLinn has not yet been medically cleared, and the title match will instead occur at next week’s impact. The match was incredibly violent, and soon after, TNA was reported to be shrinking for its use of blood and violence, but neither of them disappear from promotional programming.

This change is a shame, but it’s been made with McLinn’s greatest profit, and fans can expect a stacked show where TNA is surrounded, even without this title match.
