“The idea of putting my boots in the ring was not something he had in mind.
He disagreed with McMahon’s views, describing the segment as “a moment of victory” rather than a gloomy one. For Levesque, it marked a symbolic return following his fear of health. Since then, he has been behind the scenes as WWE’s creative lead, and has continued his occasional on-screen appearances.
As for McMahon, his time on WWE TV concluded following his resignation in January 2024. McMahon reportedly has plans to brew a new entertainment company, but he never receives the “downer/winning” Levesque three years ago.
