Former Multitime WWE Champion Paul Wight is working on his AEW position in his absence on television.

Since participating in all elite wrestling in 2021, Paul Wight has performed as a competitor, color commentator and authority figure within the ring of the Ring of Honor Brand.

However, his television appearances have been rare and far away in recent years, so fans have often speculated about Tony Kahn’s position with the company and his future.

Speaking to Bill Apter at Wrestlebinge in Sportskeeda, Wight was asked if he was still with AEW.

“I’m still with AEW and I’m still very happy with AEW and very happy with what he’s doing with Tony Kahn…”

Wight further praises Tony Kahn’s leadership and shares his gratitude to AEW at this stage of his career.

“…I’m grateful for the way Tony and he handle talent, and the kind of freedom that Tony gives talent to discover himself and find himself.

“It’s not the AEW cookie cutter process. They’re not saying, ‘This is the entrance to your ring, this is how you wear it.’

Wight last competed on The Like The Like The Aw TV, like the Battle of Dragon Garden Street in November 2023, but recently he was seen on Full Gear 2024 Zero Hour and made a cameo during a match against Big Boom AJ’s QT Marshall.
