Former AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May dealt with her absence amid rumors that could be heading for WWE.
May has not been seen since he lost to Tonistorm in the “Hollywood Ending” match at AEW Revolution 2025 in early March.
May is reportedly the year of her contract with AEW, and she believes she can leave the promotion when her contract appears and joins WWE, or at least expires her deal to see what WWE has to offer her.
It would explain her absence from television in the sense that Tony Kahn did something similar to the Lucha Brothers and the Ricky Saints.
Fans tweeted photos from today’s May.
“One day, years later, someone asks @Mariahmayx what happened.”

He signed AEW and AEW on a two-year contract in 2023, spending most of her entire tenure in a storyline with Tony Storm, where she began as a Storm pupil before becoming a bitter rival.
The run included a 174-day reign as AEW Women’s World Championship in May, winning the title at Wembley Stadium in 2024.
