In segments of Wrestling outlaw via WrestlebingeRusso did not refrain when responding to reports that WWE had pulled NXT taping at Yuengling Center in Tampa due to poor ticket sales.
“I’m happy with this. It’s not because Chris is no, bro. I think the fans have finally spoken.”
Russo said a 4 night WWE stretch in Tampa –Main Event, battlefield, rawand NXT– The average fan had too much room.
“The fans finally said, ‘No, bro. Like four shows in four nights, we can’t go to the backyard and choose a tree. Man. There’s no money tree behind.”
He went on to say that this could be a wake-up call for WWE needs.
“And I think that’s a positive thing, Chris. That’s because if they go back and rethink the prices of tickets, that’s a crazy win for the fan base.”
Russo’s response follows the current video video from Coachman Jonathan, who denounced WWE and TKO for cancellations earlier this week. The coachman called the decision a sign that WWE’s financial first-rate mindset had gone too far, warning fans were finally saying it. Enough is enough.
It’s clear that this isn’t just one cancelled show, as both Russo and Coachman are publicly calling for WWE pricing and planning. It’s the cost of loyalty and whether you’re really listening to the fans who built the empire.
