Three Things We Hate and Three Things We Loved

To be honest, I still have a hard time taking the sides in this game. The priest and McIntyre are absolutely great performers, but absolutely, it felt strange to put them in yet another match after their widely successful WrestleMania 41 conflict. It felt even more strange to try and end their feud with “Main Event of Saturday Night.” This is just a weekly show wrapped in skins from premium live events, usually what I knew from my past criticisms. Even throughout the arc of the match, I was confused as to whether I loved the chemistry priest and McIntyre or whether the priest was trying to slam McIntyre into a chair, but was willing to truly pin him as WWE claims.

I don’t think this match didn’t live up to the expectations of the story that it was positioned to have. It was positioned to be a grand final and climatic ending that led to the story of the Priest and McIntyre, but that was… not.

The steel cage matching provision was not my favorite. I was always in Cell’s girl hell. The pure reason is that I wasn’t a fan of how the wrestlers decided they were finished and left the cage to win the match. Of course, this fits a co-ill heel and usually has a wrestler to pull off someone who escapes. It’s fine considering that steel cage matching doesn’t end up with someone out there like nothing happened.

The priest of Damien left as if nothing had happened.

This match-finish would have been a stupid decision for other feuds, but this simply cannot be how the feud between the priest and McIntyre will end. I can’t tell me that the feud between the priest and McIntyre can end – symbolize the priest straight away rejection Pin your McIntyre and support it leaving the cage. Like after two WrestleMania antagonists and many other great matches behind them. Initially, I was very happy to write this down until I realized that he was conquering and nailing McIntyre, as if the priest took the high path. That’s not a babyface behaviour. If this match was really thought to be the end of the Priest-McIntyre feud, then I have a bit of a clue if the Priest would just leave without a pin.

“They are ready for the priest and McIntyre 3!” You can hear you scream. I don’t like it either! This feud was too big for a steel cage, but too small to host the entire trilogy. This is not near the McIntyre and Punk feud in terms of strength. It’s not even near the McIntyre and Rollins feud. What did the priest do to get enough McIntyre’s rage to justify the three matches?

It is rumoured that McIntyre is on the shelf, so it is unclear when the feud between McIntyre and the priest will end. What I’m saying is that it can’t end here.
