The final countdown for WWE NXT Battleground 2025 has been made, and Myles Borne is walking into the biggest moments of his career. Hours before his match with NXT champion Oba Femi, WWE dropped an emotional video featuring Borne, reflecting his journey and what he’s on in crisis. The company captioned the post in a bold statement: “A star is born tonight.”

In the clip, Borde shared that he was under pressure, but he did it all with his strength to prepare for the night.

“Man, I feel good, I feel good. I’m overwhelmed by many different emotions, but I’m trapped, I’m focused. There’s nothing more I can do to prepare.

Borne won a chance by surviving 25-man battle royals on the May 6 episode of NXT. Since then, fans have been looking closely to see how they stack up with the “conqueror” obafemies who bulldozed through the competition. The Oba remains the dominant champion, but Born’s quiet resolve is no longer possible.

The WWE NXT Battleground Card is stacked with championship matches and personal grats, including Joe Hendry, defending the TNA World Championship against Championship Williams, and Stephanie Vaquer, who posted the NXT women’s title with Jordynne Grace.

The event was born live from the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida, with the pre-show show kicking off at 7pm and the main card will launch internationally on Peacock and Netflix in the US.
