Sol Luka overcame Kerani Jordan to maintain the Women’s North American Championship at the “WWE NXT” Battlegrounds.
Ruca became champion after winning a vacant title in a ladder match, which also involves the first holder, Jordan. Their battlefield match was set after Jordan won over Luka’s partner Zaria, and in the instant they saw a new champion crowned crown. Jordan got some close range falls with Ruca, including three in a row immediately from the frog splash.
Jordan puts the match across the champion, takes her to the top rope, and attempts poison. However, Luka flips over from the pilot and hits a spear to search for Sol Snatcher. Jordan reversed it and the pair rose again the ropes as they fought before hitting a Spanish fly for another close relative. They traded strikes, Jordan had won a better ending of things, looking for split-legged moons.
Zaria stood ringside for the match, intervening out of the way, urging the referee to expel her from the match. Distracted, Jordan slid Luka outwards and regained the action inside the ring. Again they went to the top rope and Jordan reversed the Solsnatcher in another attempt. However, Luka knocked Jordan off the ropes and hit Solsnatcher from the top to get a pinfall.
