The AEW star has revealed that he is waiting for a “very long time” upcoming match after last night’s double or note victory.

Mercedes Mohn defeated AEW double or nothing Jamie Hater on May 25th to win the Owen Hart Foundation women’s tournament.

The victory now looks at her head to AEW in Texas on July 12th for a shot at the Women’s World Championships held by Toni Storm.

During AEW Double or Nothing Media Scrum, Mone shared her thoughts on her first singles match with Storm, noting her own impressive track record:

“She may be timeless, but I am legendary. I am iconic and my legacy can never be restored.

“I’ve been looking forward to facing Tonistorm for a very long time. I’ve seen her for years, ever since Stardom.

“She’s timeless for reasons. She holds the AEW Women’s World Championship for reasons. But I remember four belts. I’m AEW, Revpro, and the CEO of New Japan. I’ll be heading to Mexico soon.

Mone has spent a year as an AEW TBS champion and is the current Revpro uncontroversial British women’s champion.

Talking about upcoming matches in comments on AEW doubles or notes in the post-show media scrum, Tonistorm shared her excitement in a slightly different way, saying, “I’m not a fan of my life.”

“I’ve been orgasting ever since. I’ve been making a lot of progress in meeting Miss Mohn.”

During their shared time in WWE, Storm and then Sasha Banks collaborated to defeat Charlotte Flair and Shuzi on December 17, 2021 in an episode of Smackdown.

They will share the ring with Storm as members of Team NXT and Banks, before participating in Team Smackdown at the same event in 2021.

Future matches will be marked for the first time in their respective careers faced with each other in singles matches.

Elsewhere in Double Or Nothing, Jon Moxley’s next challenger was decided at the Owen Hart Foundation men’s tournament.
