Mone stated, “Don’t count me out on heading to Ring of Honor, Tony… I’m not afraid to face Athena there. Athena is one of the best women I’ve ever wrestled, and if she’s got a problem with me, she knows where to find me.”
Currently, Mone is the top contender for Toni Storm’s AEW Women’s World Championship. The two are set to face each other on July 12th at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. Storm successfully defended her title in a singles match against Shirakawa at Double or Nothing last night. Notably, Mone and Storm have yet to wrestle in AEW, though they shared the ring once back in 2021 as WWE SmackDown teammates.
