Welcome to another edition of The ewrestlingnews Question of the Day!
This week’s special pro wrestling event features TNA going head-to-head with TNA 2025 in a unique, non-pay-per-view show available exclusively on TNA+. Although you need a subscription to watch, there’s always the possibility of title defenses and exciting moments.
Tune in tomorrow night for live coverage and updates right here. Meanwhile, today’s question is: "What are your predictions for TNA’s future in 2025?"
Be sure to share your thoughts in the comments below.
Regarding my predictions…
TNA World Championship Singles Match: Trick Williams (c) vs. Elijah
It’s unlikely Trick Williams will lose the title so soon after winning it, especially at a lower-tier event. Elijah recently defeated Trick’s opponent Mike Santana on NXT, but with TNA Slammiversary approaching, I expect a rematch with Joe Hendry where Trick retains his championship.
TNA World Tag Team Championship: Nemes Brothers (Nick and Ryan Nemes) (c) vs. Rascalz (Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz)
Although I haven’t followed every TNA pay-per-view closely, I don’t see enough momentum for Rascalz to capture the titles now. This match might involve some interference or controversy, but I predict the Nemes Brothers will hold on for the time being.
TNA Knockout World Championship Singles Match: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Léiyǐng Lee
Again, no title change here. Slamovich recently defeated Jordyn Grace, and I believe TNA wants her to continue as champion at least through Slammiversary. Léiyǐng Lee might be a future contender, but she won’t take the belt this time.
TNA International Championship Singles Match: Steve McLin (c) vs. Manswarner (with Stef Delander)
No new champion expected here. McLin’s reign was short because there was pressure to drop the title soon, and while Manswarner looks like a challenger, he probably isn’t ready to win and defend the belt just yet.
Singles Match: Joe Hendry vs. Frankie Kazarian
If Hendry wins here, it sets him up for a rematch with Trick Williams at Slammiversary and ends his feud with Kazarian. A loss would hurt Hendry’s standing, but a surprise win by Kazarian seems unlikely.
Match for TNA Authority Director: Santino Marella vs. Robert Stone
Robert Stone is a wildcard brought in for this storyline, but Santino seems the more logical choice to remain in this role. This feud needs closure, and I expect Marella to win and continue as the authority figure.

Fan Take:
This preview sheds light on the future direction of TNA heading into 2025, offering fans a glimpse of potential title defenses and rivalries that could redefine the company’s landscape. Keeping key champions like Trick Williams and Masha Slamovich strong suggests TNA aims to build long-term stars and compelling storylines that could elevate the sport’s profile.
