AEW Dynamite & Collision Fyter Fest Ratings & Viewership Breakdown – June 4, 2025

On July 12th, AEW marked a significant milestone in its Texas tour with the 2025 Fyter Fest event. Both “AEW Dynamite” and “AEW Collision” aired back-to-back on TBS, featuring highlights such as Tay Melo’s comeback, The Kla’s debut match, and Kenny Omega holding AEW’s international championship in multiple categories, including the Texada and Okazika’s Okazika titles.

Regarding “Dynamite,” insiders reported an average of 655,000 viewers for the first two hours of Fyter Fest, reflecting a 3% increase from the prior week and a 4% rise over the recent weekly average of 630,000 viewers. The show started strong with 803,000 viewers during Will Osprey’s segment but dropped to 604,000 by the third quarter, then rebounded to 726,000 in the final quarter and concluded with 623,000 viewers at 10 PM. Notably, “Dynamite” excelled in the key 18-49 demographic with a 0.18 rating—up 12% compared to both the previous week and the four-week average of 0.16—placing third in primetime cable rankings for the night and eighth overall alongside major sports and network broadcasts.

However, the viewership shifted quickly when “Collision” began. The four-hour show saw many viewers tune out during this segment. Wrestlenomics confirmed that “Collision” averaged 380,000 viewers, a 25% drop from its May 31 episode. Although it started strong with 619,000 viewers for the International Championship match, the numbers steadily declined, ending with 243,000 viewers at the six-minute mark. The 18-49 demographic rating was 0.10, a 44% decrease from the prior episode that aired right after an NBA playoff game, yet still 25% above “Collision’s” four-week average of 0.08. Rankings placed “Collision” roughly ninth or tenth in primetime cable for the evening. AEW plans to build on this by combining both shows into one four-hour Summer Blockbuster Special on June 11, rather than airing consecutive programs.

Fan Take: This report shows that while AEW Dynamite is gaining solid momentum and viewer interest, AEW Collision still faces challenges in retaining audiences. Combining the shows for future events could boost overall ratings and enhance the fan experience, signaling a promising direction for AEW’s growth and its impact on professional wrestling’s competitive landscape.
