WWE SmackDown Results (6/20/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights
The show begins with Joe Tescitore, welcoming us while filming the exterior of the host venue. Next we see Randy Orton and Samizain walking into the arena. Then cut back on Alexablis behind the scenes and Asuka in the arena parking lot. It is then shown that Solosikoa and J.C. Mateo step into the arena, showing that Ron’s “R-Truth” murder is walking with luggage.
He moves towards the ring when La Knight’s music is a hit and introduced by ring announcer Mark Nash. Wade Barrett welcomes us to the show and shares the highlights of Jay Uso’s fatal four-way acquisition on Monday’s Raw with the help of Knights and other babyfaces who fought several heels.
We get a big “Lanite” chant from the crowd and tell the fans that he let me talk to you. After that, Knight talks about bank money. There, the boys from Seth Rollins left and ruined him. After that, the Knight usually makes things slip, but he couldn’t make that slip because one of the Rollins boys had to screw him out of the King of the Ring. Knight says they screwed him out of the king of the king, and he screwed the other out of the king of the ring. Knight says that made him think that this was the only way this could go. Knight then says that it’s finished, Law, SmackDown, no one knows anything but him. Knight knows where it ends and says it ends with him and Seth Rollins. Nights say better places than here and better times than now. Knight then calls Rollins into the ring.
WWE Hall of Fame Paul Heyman says women and gentlemen, and he goes his way. Heyman then introduces himself and says he works as Wiseman for MoneyMr. Money for Bank Seth’s “Freakkin” Rollins. Fans then tell them that Boo and Heyman don’t make the name Boo. Knight then asks Hayman why he is there tonight, and Heyman asks if Knight can enter the ring. The fans then chant “OTC” and Knight tells him to enter the ring. Heyman says the Knight is right, and says there was a lot of bad blood between himself and Rollins. After that, you will get a large “CM Punk” chant from the crowd. After that, Knight says that Heyman has many enemies. Heyman tells Knight that he happens to pay homage to all the biggest La Night fans in WWE and will wait for him to say this for a long time. Heyman then cried out “Yeah,” so Rollins allows him to tell Knight that it’s time to get out of Hell from Michigan. After that, fans say Boo and Heyman will happen to him by the end of the night if he’s nothing really bad. Heyman then tells the Night to have a nice night and leaves.
Fans then chant “Lanite” and Knight says that Heyman has to wrap his head around. Knight says he heard Heyman say he’s a big fan of his former days. Because Heyman is a liar and listens to a bit of talent and Buzz’s talent. Knight says Seth is the latest in those names. Knight then says he wanted Seth and he gets a Heyman who talks pretty tough. Knight says it made him think about Wiseman and Whisdome. Knight says, there was a time when he punched his wisdom teeth into his throat, but he didn’t do that. Knight says that if he can’t take Seth Rollins to him, all that can happen is that he and Heyman are here and now. Knight then asks the fans if they want to see it now, and the fans cheer them on. Knight says he turns his back and takes off his stuff and lets Heyman get his first shot. Knight then shakes his back and Heyman leaves the ring. Heyman tells Knight that the bad things that will happen to him tonight were not predictable, and it was a spoiler. Heyman then throws the microphone and puts out Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. They both enter the ring and the knights begin to fight them, but Bron defeats the knights. They then send him out of the ring, but Knight grabs the chair and slaps both. Knight enters the ring when Heyman stops them.
Then we look at Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. Heyman says they have it under control and it’s all under control. Byron Saxton appears and Blakeker is about to attack him, but Heyman stops him. Saxton then tells them that he got the word from Neunik Aldis that tonight’s Bronson Reed will face La Knight. Heyman thanks him, and Saxton leaves as Heyman tells the lead that perseverance is not a virtue, but a strategy.
Alexa Bliss then advances towards the ring for the first match of the night, followed by Asuka.
Queen of the Ring Tournament Semi-Final Round Match: “The Empress of Tomorrow” Asuka vs. Alexa Bliss
The match begins with Bliss tightening with a headlock, but Asuka sends her to the ropes, with both women hitting shoulder tackles on each other. Asuka then hands her bliss on her right hand and she goes for a kick, but Bliss catches her and trips her up. Bliss then attacks Dropkick with Asuka, with both women standing up. Asuka then hits a blissful shoulder tackle, and Bliss rides on the ring apron. Asuka then attacks a hip attack on Bliss, which defeats her.
Bliss delivers his right hand and knee to the larvae’s face. Bliss then asks for a cover, but Asuka kicks him out. Bliss then grabs Asuka, but Asuka delivers some forearms, kicks bliss, and follows it with a German suppression. Asuka then hits her knees in the blissful face to cover, but Bliss kicks her out. Asuka then goes for a kick, but Bliss rings the duck and winds her up, but Asuka kicks out. Bliss then goes for the Abigail sisters, but Asuka rolls her and Bliss kicks out. Asuka then hits a kick to the side of Bliss’ head, but Bliss kicks out. Asuka then climbs the top rope and goes for a dropkick, but Bliss keeps him out of the way. Bliss then hits DDT with Asuka and she goes to the cover, but Asuka kicks out.
Bliss then climbs up the top rope and goes for twisted bliss, but the bliss jumps up. Bliss then tells Asuka not to move, but Asuka is engraved on the bar on his arm. Bliss then rolls Asuka, but Asuka kicks him out. Asuka then hits the Hangman neckbreaker in bliss. Asuka then goes to the cover, but Bliss is kicked out. Bliss then runs towards the rope and hits Asuka in his right hand. Bliss then placed Anuka on the miserable tree on the horn and hit a dropkick. Bliss then climbs onto the top rope and she goes for twisted bliss, but Asuka lifts her knees. Asuka then strikes bliss with the impact of the Empress. Asuka then goes to the cover and wins.
The Queen of the Ring Tournament semi-final round match, “Empress Tomorrow” Asuka is the winner!
After that, the behind-the-scenes B-FAB uses Jade Cargill and Michin. B-fab issued a statement saying that Asuka is back. The sewing machine then tells her that she should talk to Nick Aldis about affecting the women’s tag team titles. Byron Saxton then appears and asks Cargill about his match against Roxanne Perez. Cargill tells Saxton that Perez is potential and she is quick and crude, but she is still trying to prove herself, and this is not a training room. Cargill then says that she is a storm and that this tournament is not built for the future. Cargill says she doesn’t walk just to win, she’s walking for reign.
Next we see Alexablis’s Secret Hervice. Chelsea Green tells Bliss she should have been in the tournament. Charlotte Flair appears and she will be there, telling Green that she should be in the Queen of the Ring Tournament and that it wasn’t her replacement. Green leaves to tell Flair that she doesn’t need her help, and Flair tells her that she’s not going to help her.
Kit Wilson is currently in the ring for a match against Aleister Black. As Black heads into the ring, R-Truth attacks Wilson from behind. truth. Then put Wilson in the STF and grab the microphone. The truth is, “I’ll put John Cena out here now,” and he says he’s driving on his own terms. The truth is, put Wilson again in the STF and the WWE officials come to split it. Jamie Noble stops the truth and talks to him to calm him down. Truth and the nobility leave the ring and walk towards their backs.
Gunther’s clip then won the Jey Uso World Heavyweight Championship. Then you’ll get the highlights of the return of RAW and WWE Hall of Fame Goldberg over the past week.
Afterwards, seeing Jamie Noble with R-Truth, Truth tells Noble that he wants Cena. Aleister Black then appears and asks the truth why he is in his match. The truth tells Black that it’s not personal and has nothing to do with him. Both men are in face to face, with the priest of Damien appearing. The priest tells Black that the truth is going through much and tries to speak to him. Black leaves and the priest tells him that he got it because he was doing it, but the truth is the one who made him smile. The priest then tells the truth to use that rage and negativity and focus it on his match with John Cena, then they can go out and celebrate. The truth tells the priest that it sounds good and shakes his hand.
Cody Rhodes’ music hits and he moves towards the ring. Rhodes plays and tries to speak to the crowd, but he is interrupted by the music at the entrance of Jay Lies. Jay Uso advances into the ring through the crowd and does his Yet routine with the young girl. Later, Lie picks up the boy and makes another round of his Yett routine before heading down the stairs and finally into the ring. Rhodes smiles as he watches Lie continue his routine at the entrance in the ring. Rhodes and Lie embrace. The crowd wants more, so the USO gives them an encore.
The song of lies is cut off, and lies tell Rhodes that they are in the trench. And they both went to Mountain Top. USO then tells Rhodes this Monday that there is only one of them. The lie says he knows that Rhodes will bring it. USO says it’s business, not personal. The lie says that on Monday night after they went to war, it would be said to be four letters of one word, Yeet. Rhodes and Lie then embrace Sami Zain’s music as it appears, and he goes his way. Zayn says this is great and he can share the ring with two friends. Zayn says he’ll lie if he says there’s a part of him who says he doesn’t know he’s not winning the World Championships. Zayn then told USO that he had to miss Wrestle Mania this year, and he got his ass on the plane for one reason, which was to congratulate USO when he won the title. Zayn lies to tell him that he loves him and he is proud of him. Zayn tells Rhodes that he had been waiting for him to finish his story for years, and when he did, he was the first to run through the ropes and congratulate him. Zayn tells them that he hopes he understands that he has to finish his story.
Randy Orton’s music hits and he moves towards the ring. Orton tells Rhodes there is no line that he doesn’t cross, even if it means passing through him and facing John Cena at Summerslam. Orton then tells him that he respects him and his family, and he only has love, but if USO stands in front of him, it becomes three letters and one move. Orton then says he can speak for himself, Cody, Jay and everyone in the arena. Orton says Summerslam isn’t that day. Because tonight he is on the receiver of RKO, the three most dangerous letters in sports entertainment.
King of the Ring Tournament Semi-Final Round Match: “The Viper” Randy Orton vs. Sami Zayn
The match begins with Zayn hitting some chops on Orton in the corner, but Orton moves out of the way and leaves the ring. Orton then returns to the ring and pushes Zain into the corner. Orton then begins to peer in Zayn’s eyes, and the judge does not see it. Orton then delivers Zayn’s right hand, and Zayn hits Orton’s eye, sending Orton out of the ring. Zayn is in the ring apron, but Orton trips him and grabs Zayn. Orton then slams Zayn onto the announcement desk. The fans then chant “One more” and Orton lifts Zayn up and slams him onto the desk again.
Zayn then pounds the clothesline with Orton. Zayn then climbs onto the second rope and hits a double x. Zayn goes to the blue lightning bomb, but Orton lands on his leg and hits the clothesline. Zayn then goes to the ropes and Orton attacks the Snap Power Slam. Zayn is in a ring apron, and Orton drags him onto the second rope and slams him with a draped DDT. Orton is about to go to RKO, but Zayn comes out of the ring. Orton then goes outside and he slams Zayn’s face into the announcement desk. He then goes to the slam at the announcement desk, but Zayn lands on his leg and slams Orton onto the desk.
Zayn sends Orton back into the ring, and Orton seeks a spear in the corner, but Zayn keeps out of the way. Orton then hits the ring post and Zayn goes to Helluva Kick, but Orton hits Snap Powerslam. Orton then goes to the cover, but Zayn kicks out. Orton then goes to RKO, but Zayn strikes a blue lightning bomb with the duck. Zayn then goes to the cover, but Orton kicks him out. Zayn climbs up to the top rope and jumps, but Orton moves and Zayn lands on his leg. Orton then goes to RKO, but Zayn slams him onto the mat. Zayn then goes to Helluva Kick, but Orton attacks him with RKO. Orton then goes to the cover and wins.

Nia Jax’s music hits and she moves towards the ring. Jacks says it’s weird that Tiffany Stratton approached her as if she was under her wings, as she knew what she could do for her. Jacks says Stratton is thriving, but what she gets is that she is betrayed and Stratton has her title. Tiffany Stratton’s music hits and she moves towards the ring. Stratton tells Jax that she seems like a toxic ex who can’t escape. Stratton then tells Jacks to get over it, and she continues to make excuses. Stratton says Jacks should admit that she is better than her. Jax then tells Stratton why he doesn’t give her a rematch if she’s far better than her. Then Stratton says next week she just made it official and has gotten so much fun adding scars to her head, and this is her last women’s match. After that, Jacks goes to his right, but a Stratton Duck. Stratton then goes to the ropes, but Jacks bumps into her with a spinebuster, dropping her legs and chases after it. Jacks then boo her and raises the title belt into the air.
Naomi’s music is a hit and she runs off with the judge. Naomi is about to win cash, but Jacks pulls her under the ring. Naomi then returns to the ring apron and Jacks pulls her down. Naomi then screams at Jacks and returns to the ring apron. Stratton then drops Naomi and Naomi on Jacks outside the ring. Stratton then plays her music and raises her title into the air. Stratton then throws the briefcase to ringside to make her exit.

Single Match: “Queen” Charlotte Flare vs. Chelsea Green
The match begins with Green’s talent for offensiveness and her face slamming the mat first. Green grabs Flair, but Flair delivers some chops to her breasts. Flare then rides on the top rope and slams the crossbody. Flare then goes to the cover, but Green kicks out. Flare then kicks on the side of Green’s head, and the referee checks up on the green. The fire then rides on the ring apron and hangs the flare on the top rope. Green hits the flare on the mat. Green goes to the cover, but Flare kicks out.
Flare then hits a few chops into his green chest and chases it with a fallen slum. Flare then goes to Figure 4, but Fia gets on the ring apron and bumps into her with her big boots that Flair defeats her. Flair then turns around and Midori bumps into her with a leg lariat. Green goes to the cover, but Flare kicks out. Green removes her protective mask and goes to the untreated person, but Flair pushes Green into the rope and bumps into her with a spear. Flare then goes to the cover, but Green kicks out. Flare then goes to Figure 4, but Green rolls her and Flair kicks out. Flair then reaches her legs and cinches to Figure 8. Green taps out and the referee rings the bell.

After the match, Piper Niven hits Senton with a flare, and Alexablis makes her way to make a save. Flare and Bliss then attack the secret Hervice, both standing in the ring. Flare passes through bliss, and Bliss appears angry when Flare’s music hits, and she leaves the ring.
He then heads behind JC Mateo, who is raising his hands. Solosikoa then asks Mateo what he is doing and Mateo says he wants to take Jacob Fatu out. Sicor tells Mateo he won’t do that and he tells him to talk. Sicor then says Fatu needs him, but he says Mateo is ready.
Solosicore’s music hits and he moves towards the ring. After Sicor enters the ring, he tells Jacob Fatu that he is only in the ring with his arms spread out. After that, Sicoa asks Fatu to come out and cleans the air. The music of WWE US champion “Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu is hit and he comes out and joins Sicor in the ring. Sicoa wants to tell Fatu that he didn’t come out to fight him and make it very clear that he loves him. Sikor says one of the things he learns about being a tribe chief is how to love and care for your family. Sikor says that’s everything he’s trying to do. After that, the cicoa is always the family fights, they fight, they insist, they forgive, they move forward. After that, Sicoa tells Fatu to move forward together as one.
Sikor then tells Fatu that no one saw his potential except him. Sikor says no one wants him except him. Cicor said that was why he brought him there, giving him the opportunity to change his life and put food on the table for his family. Sicoa tells Fatu that he did it because he loves him. Then, Sikor says to be honest, he has no one else and he is the only one he has. Sikor then tells Fatu that it’s all he needs. Afterwards, Sikoa tells Fatu to come back to his family and he accepts him even if Fatu hasn’t said four words. Afterwards, Sicoa tells Fatu that he loves him. Fatu asks Sicoa that he loves him. Fatu says this is, after all, cikoa who loves him. Fatu then tells Sicoa how he sees things, using him to gain power, fighting his battles and using him to keep him the chief of the tribe. Fatu says that Sikoa can bring him in and he can bring fame and money. Fatu then tells Sicoa to look at him as he talks to him.
The fans then chant “fatu,” and both men meet. Fatu then tells Sicoa that he is someone who has been acting differently since he won the US title. Fatu says maybe he’s not the problem, the problem is the US title. Fatu then places the title on the mat between herself and Sicor. Fatu says that’s why, and he tells Sicoa to fight him. Fatu then tells Sicoa that he only warns him at once. Fatu says that if Sikore had thought of going his own path, he knows what Fat is. Fatu says Sikoa knows he’s all gas and no brakes. Sikoa is going to go for solo spikes, but Fatu blocks him and smacks him with the butt of his head. JC Mateo then leaves, but Fatu attacks him with the butt of his head. Sikor then chops into Fatu’s knees, with both men doubled him with the horns.
Jimmy Uso’s music hits and he moves towards the ring. USO then hits super kicks with both JC Mateo and Solo Sikoa. The lie then turns around and Mateo bumps into him in the clothesline. Fatu then stands up and takes out both Mateo and Cicor. Fatu then performs a hip attack on the horn’s Sikoa. Fatu then looks at USO and both look at Sikoa. Fat then climbs onto the second rope, but Sicoa rolls out to the outside of the ring when Fat’s music hits.
Bronson Reed then goes to the ring with Bron Blakeker and Paul Heyman for the next night’s match. La Knight’s music hits and he moves from the broadcast side of the venue towards the ring.
Single Match: “The Mega Star” La Knight vs. “Big” Bronson Reed
The match begins with La Knight attacking Bron Breakker from behind Ringside. The Knight then enters the ring and sends the lead outwards. The lead enters the ring. Knight then passes his right hand to Reid, and he puts Reid in the corner and stomps him. Knight then kicks in Reid’s face and grabs him, but Reid sends Knight to the ring apron. Knight then jumps over the top rope and Reid catches him. Knight then lands on his feet and goes to a jumping neckbreaker, but the lead grabs the rope. Reed then goes to Senton, but Knight moves out of the way. Knight is about to go to the elbow, but the lead rolls out to the outside of the ring. The Knight then hits a baseball slide. The Knight then jumps off the second rope and hits the crossbody.
Knight then drops his bouncing elbow. Knight then goes to the cover, but Reid kicks him out. Knight then goes to BFT, but Reid attacks him with the butt of his head and follows it with a jagged edge. Reed goes to the cover, but Knight kicks him out. The lead then lifts Knight, but Knight reverses it to DDT. The Breakker then rides on the ring apron and the Knight knocks him down. The lead is then sent out of the ring. Knight then runs to the ropes, but Blakeker enters the ring and slams him with a spear as the judge calls for the Bell.
For the disqualified “The Mega Star” La Knight, the singles winner will play the match!
After the match, Reid lifts the knight and Blakeker runs to the rope and slams him with a spear. Breakker then holds down Knight and Reid strikes him in a tsunami. The lead then climbs once more onto the top rope and hits another tsunami. Reed then climbs the top rope once more as WWE officials enter the ring, but the breaker pushes them away and Reed hits another tsunami. Reed, Breakker and Heyman all go backwards.
He then sees Jacob Fatu in the backstage area and says he has just spoken to the guy and on the following Saturday Champions night, it says he is against the solo because of the US title. Fatu says he goes to the dog walks Sicoa’s butt.
R-Truth proceeds towards the ring for the evening main event. John Cena’s music hits and he moves towards the ring. Cena then asks to cut his music and orders Mark Nash to announce him as he does every time.
Non-title match: Uncontroversial WWE Champion John Cena vs. Ron “R-Truth” Killings
The match begins with R-Truth hitting a takedown with John Cena, who follows it with his right hand, but Cena rolls out of the ring. R-Truth then delivers Cena’s right hand and slams Cena’s face first into the announcement desk. The truth grabs Cena, he first slaps the face on the ring apron, and Cena goes back into the ring and slides. The truth then backs up Cena back to the turnbuckle first, and Cena falls to the mat.
Cena then bumps into the five knuckle shuffles of truth. Cena then goes to AA, but the truth lands on his feet. The truth then delivers Cena’s right hand and follows it with a splash on the corner, and Cena rolls out the outside of the ring. Cena then grabs the title and begins to leave, but the truth follows him. The truth then delivers Cena’s right hand, Cena attacks him with the title, and the judge asks for Bell.
Ron “R-Truth” Killings is the winner of matches other than the title!
After the match, CM Punk music hits and he proceeds to the ring with Cena. Cena then delivers her right hand and kicks Punk. Punk then stands up and hits Cena with his right hand. Punk then grabs the title and he goes to hit Cena with it, but Cena hits Punk with a kick and a low blow. Cena then grabbed the title and hit a punk in the face. Cina then goes outside the ring and pulls the table from under the ring. Cena then slides the table into the ring and sets it up. Punk then rises and Cena hits once more with the title. Cena then gets a flat tire on her shoulder and slaps him with an adjustment of her attitude through the table. Cena then goes outside the ring and grabs the microphone. Cena then returns to the ring and begins to laugh. Cena then sits on the top rope and tells Punk that he hopes he can hear as he lies there the most uncomfortable.
Cena says first, he doesn’t hate punk. Cena says he doesn’t even hate him, he likes him and he likes him more than anyone he’s ever shared a locker room. Cena says she hates this idea that punk is the best in the world. Cena says he is the best ever. Cena says Punk is better than him. Punk is the best bull sitter in the world. Cena then says, oh no, he just dropped the cursed words. Cena tells her to shoot this as she is breaking the fourth wall. Cena says the truth is that he is jealous of Punk. He is jealous of him telling him he believes this myth as the best in the world.
Cena then recites the punk and they sing to him, but they don’t believe God’s damn words he says. Cena says that because Punk changes his value as much as Cena changes his t-shirt. Cena says Punk is an opportunist around the heads of people who break their heads. Cena says Hi Claudio Castagnoli, Nick Nemeth and Matt Cardona. Cena says that there’s no one to cut his microphone to save his ass, as he’s his only friend. Cena then asks Punk to remember who gave him the setting for his pipe bomb. Cena then asked Punk what he did since then, and he repeated the same five promotional words for Doom. Cena says Punk is no longer a voice, and despite his own self, he is a billionaire. Cena says he is a capitalist, not a punk. Cena says she is not opposed to TKO. He is Mr. TKO. Cena says they technically knocked the ball out of his body. Cena says his tweets are strong and his actions are weak. China says he faces some big music when he proves to the world that in Saudi Arabia, he doesn’t take a day, a day, a day, a day off and 25 years off every day.
The fans then chant “China” and he says the fans know. Cena says he knows Punk was the best in the world 7 minutes and 14 years ago. Cena says after Champions night, Punk is paranoid enough to believe he is the best in the world. Cena says, “We welcome Grand Rapids,” and fans cheer them on. Cena then tells Punk to bring his game to Champion’s night, as the mood is beginning to change if tonight’s mood is any sign. After that, WWE officials go out to check on punk. Cena says it’s okay, he doesn’t do any more damage. Cena says Punk has a big title match. Cena says the best in the world will oppose the best of all time because of the WWE’s incontroversial championship, the most coveted award in sports entertainment. Cena says you know you sing and chanting, but even idiots are smart enough to see the truth, that means the champion is here. Cena then raises his title and says, “America, you can keep the next two minutes, I don’t need a bomb, Elvis left the building fudges his mother.” Cena thanks Punk for stealing the promotion and making him look even more stupid. Cena’s music hits and he climbs to the second rope and raises the title into the air as fans cheer. Cena then walks onto the stage and blows the kiss away as the show approaches the end.
