John Cena recently shared which WrestleMania entrance stands out as his favorite. During a Q&A session at Fan Expo Dallas, he touched on various topics including Peacemaker Season 1, the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight, and his role in Aquaman.
When asked about his favorite WrestleMania entrance, Cena mentioned that this year’s entrance was his top pick. He explained how seeing JBL’s unique entrance for his first WrestleMania main event inspired him to create something special for his own fans. However, since many wrestlers began making elaborate entrances, Cena decided to switch things up this year by opting for a simple, minimalist entrance instead.
He said, "I really liked what JBL did at the entrance. It made me think, ‘If no one else is doing anything special, why not make it unique?’ WrestleMania is a big event, and I wanted my entrance to be special. Today, almost everyone has a unique entrance, so this year I chose to go as simple and bare-bones as possible. I really liked it."
The 17-time world champion then reflected on a memorable moment at WrestleMania 39 when he shared his entrance experience with children from the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Cena said, "I had to bring it back. I had the chance to bring 50 kids from Make-A-Wish onto the WrestleMania stage. Looking out at the stadium from the tunnel—there’s nothing quite like that view. Sharing that moment with close friends and those kids was an incredible experience."
Cena is set to defend the WWE Championship on June 28 in Saudi Arabia during Championship Night, where he will face his longtime rival, CM Punk, in what is expected to be their final match.
