Aew Star Darby Allin is currently in the middle of Everest Mount Mount, the world’s tallest mountain. Not only does it reach its peak, the wrestler brings skateboards, and in a recent post on Instagram, Allyn lands the iconic skateboard trick within the field of vision of the summit.
In the video, you can see Alin, normally clean, growing beards when he lands a kickflip at Everest Camp 2, which is just 8,000 feet above the mountain peak. Using a digital watch to determine the elevation, Allyn claimed he had broken the world record for the highest kickflip in history, at 20,958 feet above sea level.
Alyn began trekking early last month and the trip is expected to last until June. Based on updates posted online since the journey began, Allin appears to be making good progress as he receives Everest. The trip was a public discussion by wrestlers over the years, and at one point he was scheduled to climb the mountain in 2024. However, these plans had to be postponed due to a leg injury.
Discussing his motivation to tackle Everest in an interview last year, Allin said he wanted to remind him that he could do anything in his mind. The wrestler was grateful that AEW had allowed him to try such a feat during his contract, and he shared his belief that the experience would be “humble” for him.
