John Moxley remains the AEW world champion, but in the end someone has to defeat the Death Rider leader for the title.
Certainly there is nothing to suggest that John Moxley’s reign is expected to end soon, but fans continue to dream of new ways in which it could happen.
Below are five ways that Jon Moxley’s title reign can end the AEW world champion, replacing him at the top of the AEW card.
5. Samoa Joe
The fastest route for Jon Moxley to be replaced as AEW’s world champion will be via Old Foe Samoa Joe.
John Moxley, who appeared at AEW Beach Break on May 14th, will defend the AEW World Championships in a steel cage match with Samoa Joe.
Samoa Joe was able to absolutely detren John Moxley on the beach break to become the new AEW world champion, but perhaps it could follow that some kind of shenanigan would end the end of this particular TV match with the cliffhanger.
In a rematch that could happen on May 25th in Pay-Per-View at upcoming AEW Double or Nothing – perhaps there will be a third man in the match…
