Julia was taken aback by how quickly she was promoted to the main roster. She made her official WWE debut at the NXT No Mercy Pay-Per-View last September and soon appeared as a contender for the NXT women’s title. Although she didn’t win the inaugural NXT Women’s Championship at the brand’s premiere on the CW in October, she captured the title just weeks later on January 7th during the New Year’s Evil special. Even more astonishing was her call-up to the main roster this April, only seven months after joining the company.
Now performing on SmackDown, Julia shared in an interview with Merawrestling that she was surprised by how fast her promotion happened. She admitted she originally aimed to achieve everything swiftly but wished she had more time to improve her English before moving up. She reflected, "I thought WWE worked at a fast pace, but moving to the main roster in just eight or nine months really amazed me. I hadn’t fully learned English yet, so I felt sorry about that. I was eager to get there immediately, but every match and show in WWE was a new experience for me. Looking back, it all happened incredibly fast."
Julia is preparing for the biggest match of her career in the upcoming Women’s Money in the Bank Pay-Per-View this Saturday. She mentioned that if she wins the briefcase, her plan is to challenge Tiffany Stratton for a title opportunity.
Fan Take: Julia’s rapid rise signals WWE’s investment in fresh talent and fast-tracking promising stars, which adds exciting unpredictability to the women’s division. This momentum could reshape the landscape, inspiring a new generation of wrestlers and captivating fans eager for fresh storylines and fierce competition.
