WWE Hall of Fame 2026 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Results (4/17/26): Live Updates and Highlights
The show begins with Jackie Redmond and Peter Rosenberg welcoming us and seeing the arrival of several stars. Then they talk about what a great night the Hall of Fame was. They then introduced Big E and he talked about how excited he was to see everyone inducted into the Hall of Fame. Then let’s take a look at tonight’s WWE Hall of Fame class.
Then Carmelo Hayes and Kehlani Jordan come out and talk about being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Carmelo then talks about who he most wants to hear from and Kehlani talks about AJ Styles. Big E then talks to Mr. and Mrs. Danhausen. Big E then tells Danhausen not to curse him because he’s a Hall of Famer. Big E then asks if anyone is cursed. Big E sends it back to Redmond and Rosenberg and they talk to Jevon Evans.
Big E then talks to The Miz and Maryse and Miz talks about Danhausen. Miz then says he’s not nervous at all and there’s no curse. Miz then talks about how Danhausen ruined his vows with Maryse. The Miz and Maryse then talk about who they are looking forward to meeting. Redmond and Rosenberg talk to Dennis Rodman, who says he feels like he’s at the Oscars. Rosenberg then asks Rodman about Nitro. Redmond then asks Rodman what is his favorite moment in wrestling. Rodman then gets emotional talking about Hulk Hogan.
Big E then talks to R-Truth and Big E asks if anyone wants to meet Truth. Truth then tells everyone and Big E asks about Truth’s own Hall of Fame induction. Redmond and Rosenberg then speak with Damian Priest and Laura Weiss, with Priest talking about who he’s most looking forward to seeing tonight. Vice talks about the same thing. Priest then talks about AJ Styles and Stephanie McMahon.
Next, we get the Stephanie McMahon video package.
Big E then speaks to Nick Aldis and Mickie James. Aldis says it’s important to be there to honor Styles. James then said he was looking forward to Stephanie’s appointment. Big E then said he was looking forward to Mickey’s induction into the Hall of Fame. CM Punk is then photographed and Redmond and Rosenberg are seen talking to John Cena. Cena then talks about the Hall of Fame and who he’s most looking forward to hearing from. And Cena says he is enjoying life after retirement. Cena then talks about AJ Styles.
Big E then spoke with Stephanie Vaquel and she said that she was most looking forward to Stephanie McMahon’s induction. Triple H is currently with Rosenberg and Redmond and says he’s more excited about Stephanie’s appointment this year than he was about his own last year. He also talks about Dennis Rodman. WWE Hall of Famer The Bellas are currently facing Big E. Nikki was wearing walking boots and specifically told Big E that he was still available for tomorrow’s match. Drew McIntyre and his wife are currently at Rosenberg Redmond, and McIntyre talks about his rivalry with Jacob Fatu.
Big E then talks to CM Punk and AJ Lee. Punk says it’s about time for AJ Lee to take over. Lee says he’s looking forward to hearing from Stephanie, and Punk says he’s here for AJ Styles, Dennis Rodman, Demolition, and Bad News Brown. Rosenberg and Redmond have also spoken with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch about renewing their vows. Rollins then talks about Lynch being in the Hall of Fame, and Lynch talks about Rollins being in the Hall of Fame. Big E then joined, Lynch talked about what he admired about Stephanie McMahon, and Rosenberg and Redmond finished the red carpet show.
The main Hall of Fame induction ceremony will begin with The Undertaker narrating the opening video package, featuring highlights of each inductee, headlined by Stephanie McMahon.
Michael Cole and The Miz then welcome us and Cole brings up WrestleMania XXVII. There, The Miz pinned John Cena in the main event, and his undefeated streak began with a victory over Jerry Lawler. He then mentioned his match with Lawler and how it was voted the worst match in WrestleMania history. Miz then takes over Cole, recognizing Cole’s passion, hard work, and dedication. He then thanks Cole and calls him “Goat”. The jokes then fly as Miz says there are beautiful people and the camera pans to his wife and Trish. The camera then pans to Danhausen. The Miz then thanked the fans and superstars for sacrificing everything for a moment that will last forever.
Next, we get the Stephanie McMahon video package. Liv Morgan says she learned how to be a freak from Stephanie McMahon. Getting the Slap compilation, Cole said, caused her hearing loss. Stephanie’s daughter Aurora, Murphy, and Vaughn then depart to induct Stephanie into the Hall of Fame, and are joined by Linda McMahon. Aurora is my favorite because she is the oldest and is the first to talk and joke. She then talks about her mother’s success in a male-dominated business and changing the women’s sector. She then talks about how Stephanie took them from the popcorn match to the main event of WrestleMania. She then talks about what Stephanie taught her about work ethic, the power of her voice, and perseverance. He says he would not be where he is today without her role model and inspiration.
Then Murphy is the middle child. She came here to tell her mother what she meant to her. She says she has the biggest heart and is the most empathetic person she knows. She then talks about Connor and how Stephanie has made it her mission to help children with cancer. She then talks about her mother’s laughter and how it brought her back. She then criticizes her mother, who raised three girls and changed the world with the women’s revolution, as a bad person.
The youngest Bourne appears next. She says a mother’s love is contagious. Triple H is then seen in the crowd. He listens and smiles, like any proud father should. Although Vaughn is a singer in her family, she felt different from her family because her sisters and parents were athletes. And she says she always thought she could sing and dance in the kitchen with her mother to forget everything that happened that day. She then joked that their dance moves weren’t the best.
Linda said at the end that she knew she was a little biased. Linda says she has worn many hats on this journey, both as a mother and as a businesswoman. She then talks about when Stephanie, whose parents are heads of companies and whose older brother is a high-ranking official, graduated from college. They then talk about how Shane used to slam Stephanie on the couch when they were kids and tell her, “Don’t tell your dad.” And, she points out, Stephanie was a natural and approached the job like a fish out of water. She then talks about the charisma that Stephanie had and how she was able to grab an audience. She then mentioned that Forbes ranked Stephanie as one of the world’s most powerful business women in 2021 and talked about Stephanie being a Henry Crown Fellow.
Linda then continues as if she has reached her mother’s point of view. She then talks about how Stephanie gives the best hugs and her laugh is contagious. Then she said it was a hearty, hearty laugh. And she said she had a window to see Stephanie grow from a little girl to an amazing woman. She then calls Paul the love of Stephanie’s life. And Stephanie describes herself as a loving and nurturing mother. And she says she’d be happy if Stephanie could show why she should be inducted here. She then says that she loves Stephanie with all her heart and congratulates her on this wonderful achievement. Linda then introduces Stephanie.
Stephanie McMahon then comes out on stage and hugs her daughters and their mother. Then some people start shouting, “Thank you, Stephanie.” McMahon then says the only person missing is his grandmother. Stephanie then says that both she and Paul Levesque wanted to be parents. Stephanie says she was told early on that she would never be able to have children. Stephanie then says that through modern medicine and the grace of God, they have three beautiful daughters. Then Stephanie said she had to fight for what she wanted. Stephanie says she fights every day for her daughters. Stefani then says that Aurora grew up on a tour bus and always wanted to be the boss of a pop job. She then talks about her daughter Murphy pooping on a security guard’s head. Stefani then says that Vaughn was sung by John Cena and The Rock.
Stephanie then talks about her mother and remembers her father, Vince McMahon. I hear chants of “Thank you, Vince.” Stephanie said she wouldn’t be here without them. Stephanie then talks about her childhood. When she saw the Grand Wizard, or Uncle Ernie, as she knew it, at home, with his boat parked in the driveway. Stephanie says it wasn’t unusual for her to come home to find Ric Flair sitting on the couch, or to be seen off by Hulk Hogan at her ninth grade prom. Stephanie says she had a wonderful childhood. She then talks about her journey from modeling for WWE Magazine to being inducted into the Hall of Fame. Then I hear chants of “You deserve it.” She then overwrites the immortal moments with other Hall of Famers. Then Stephanie said she remembered being at the Pontiac Silverdome. Stephanie said she remembers seeing her friend Andre the Giant come out in the slowest cart ever.
Stephanie says she was devastated when she lost to Hulk Hogan. And Stephanie said she had her first dinner date with Andre at a French restaurant in Stamford, Connecticut. Then Stephanie says Andre joked that everyone thought he was a dirty old man. Stephanie then says they all share a common passion for what happens in the ring. And Stephanie says it’s all about the characters we love, the stories that give us hope and make us human, to ride or die. Then Stephanie says all we have is each other. She then talks about working with everyone to raise millions of dollars for Connor’s Cure.
Then she talked about a program she was launching called Superstars for Hope and we got a video package of kids in the hospital cutting promos. One of the children here, Jimmy Spagnuolo, wasn’t supposed to live past the age of one, but in a few weeks he’ll be 16. Stephanie had her family in the stands and received a standing ovation from the crowd. Then a chant of “Jimmy” erupts from the crowd.
She then apologizes to someone whose eardrum she ruptured. And she says her mother-in-law is responsible for the slap. And she thanks her sister-in-law and nieces and nephews, saying she loves them. She then names some people and thanks Shawn, Undertaker, Nash, and Flair. After that, she ran through a lot of superstars and most importantly said that she would like to thank Paul Levesque, the man of her dreams. And she says he was everything she thought was wrong, but she couldn’t resist him. Then she said he would flick her a piece of paper. He then asked if he could call her to talk about work, but she says they never stopped talking. Then she starts getting emotional and says you cheated on me first.
She then said that she thought her time with WWE was over a few years ago, but that she is coming back home. And she said everyone who has worked in this business is family and WWE will always be their home. She then gets into full Stephanie McMahon mode as she gets the microphone and cuts a heel promo. She then calls Sami Zayn a B Plus player. And she challenges them to rise up and bask in her glory.
